Summarize my recent notes
Get a condensed view of what you've been writing about across notes, for review or handoff.
The prompt
Summarize my notes from this week.
Notes are useful when they get re-read. alfred_ does the re-reading and surfaces the patterns, decisions, and open questions so you don’t have to scroll back through everything.
What alfred_ does
- Reads notes within the scope you specified (time range, project, tag)
- Identifies recurring themes, decisions, and open questions
- Returns a compressed summary: key points, decisions made, things still open
- Optionally drafts a status update or handoff brief from the summary
Tips
- Be specific about scope: “this week” vs “the Acme project notes” vs “all my 1:1 notes”
- Pair with writing: “Summarize the notes, then draft a status update for my CEO”
- For long projects: weekly summaries make better long-term memory than monthly ones
Related
Variations
- What have I been writing about?
- Pull the key points from my notes since Monday.
- Give me a recap of my notes from the Acme project.
- Summarize my meeting notes from this month.
Best for
Friday reviews, project handoffs, status updates to your manager, or trying to remember what you decided three meetings ago.
