Ready-made routines
Ten ready-made routines you can switch on from the Routines page: your morning brief, meeting prep, a weekly plan, an end-of-day wrap-up, follow-up lists, an invoice log and more.
Open Routines in the sidebar to see the routines you have on, and the ready-made ones you can switch on with one click. Each one has a default schedule you can change.
Your day and week
Morning brief. What needs you, the meetings ahead and the tasks due, every morning by text or email. On by default. See Morning brief.
Prep every meeting. Briefs for your meetings with other people: who they are, what came before, what you owe and are owed, and what to ask. Get one daily email timed around your first meeting, one an hour before each meeting, or both. See Meeting prep.
Plan my week. Every Monday, 8 AM. Your week ahead: one line per day with each meeting and any task due, which day is busiest and which is most open, up to five emails from the last week that need you this week, and up to three things alfred_ could help with.
Wrap up my day. Weekdays, 4:30 PM. Before you finish: the replies people are still waiting on, approvals only you can give, the tasks for today that are still open, and the first thing tomorrow should start with. One text or email, and nothing at all when nothing needs you.
Clean up your calendar. Every Sunday, 6 PM. Checks the next 7 days for meetings that overlap, runs of back-to-back meetings longer than 3 hours, and meetings you declined that are still there. For each, it says whether it’s worth changing and what to change. It changes nothing itself.
Follow-ups and clients
Chase what I’m owed. Every Monday, 8 AM. Reads what you sent in the last week and finds the things you asked people to do, send, review, confirm, decide or pay that are still outstanding, oldest first, each with a short follow-up ready. Nothing is sent.
Proposals waiting on a decision. Every Monday, 8 AM. Finds the proposals, quotes, estimates and statements of work you sent in the last 60 days that still need a yes or no, oldest first, with a short follow-up suggestion for each.
Tasks and money
A to-do list that updates itself. As mail arrives. Suggests the tasks in each email as it lands, for you to accept or dismiss. See Task suggestions.
Sort my tasks. Every day, 7:30 AM. Sorts your open tasks into do now, schedule this week, and consider dropping, with one line of reasoning each. Anything overdue goes at the top.
Log every invoice. Every Friday, 5 PM. Finds the invoices, receipts and bills that arrived in your email that week, including PDF attachments, and adds each to a note called “Invoices” with the vendor, amount, due date, and whether it looks paid.
