View as Markdownalfred_ reads every calendar you connect as one. It tells you what's coming up, schedules and moves meetings, finds open time, catches conflicts, and prepares you for meetings. Invites to other people wait for your OK.

How to ask
- What’s on tomorrow?
- Set up 30 minutes with Mark next Tuesday morning
- Move my 3pm to 4
- When am I free for an hour this week?
- Prep me for my 2pm
What happens
Conflicts
alfred_ checks a time against every connected calendar, work and personal, before it books it or proposes it. A personal appointment blocks work scheduling too.
- When you ask it to schedule, the confirmation shows any overlap before you approve. You can still go ahead.
- When alfred_ is on a scheduling email thread, it won’t propose a time you’re busy for, and if someone suggests one it says so and offers times that work.
- When an ordinary meeting request lands in your inbox, the suggested reply shares your booking link instead of specific times.
What counts is a direct overlap with a real event on any connected calendar. Focus blocks count. Subscribed calendars, like holidays or a sports schedule, don’t.
Approval and control
| When alfred_… | What happens |
|---|---|
| Reads your calendars | On its own. |
| Adds an event with no guests | Right away, on your own calendar. |
| Creates or changes a meeting with guests | Shows you the invite first and waits for your OK. |
| Finds a conflict | Shows it and waits. It doesn’t move or delete an existing event to make room. |
Limits
alfred_ doesn’t check:
- Travel time between meetings in different places.
- Buffers between meetings. Buffers exist only on booking links.
- Who is on a meeting. It won’t decide one meeting matters more than another.
- Quiet hours. Those control when alfred_ contacts you, not when meetings can be booked.
Reminders
alfred_ can text you before a meeting (15 minutes before, by default), text you when a meeting is added, moved or cancelled, and show a banner in the app 30 minutes before a meeting starts. Turn each on or off under Settings → Notifications.
