Turn a meeting into tasks
Take the recap or notes from a meeting and convert them into tracked tasks for you and the right owners.
The prompt
Turn the notes from my last meeting into tasks.
The action items from a meeting usually outlive the meeting itself. alfred_ extracts them while the context is fresh and assigns them to the right owners.
What alfred_ does
- Identifies the meeting (last one ended, or by reference)
- Reads the notes (yours, or auto-generated if you used a notetaker integration)
- Extracts commitments: who agreed to do what by when
- Creates a task for each, assigning to you or surfacing the ones owed by others
- Optionally drafts a recap email with the tasks so attendees see the action list
Tips
- Run within 5 minutes of the meeting ending: context decays fast
- Pair with recap: “Turn the notes into tasks, then draft the recap email to send to attendees”
- For meetings without notes: connect a notetaker (Fathom, Granola, Otter) so alfred_ has source material

- Convert this meeting's notes into a checklist for the team.
Best for
The moment after a meeting ends, before context fades, especially for meetings that generated multiple commitments across multiple people.
