View as MarkdownOn the team plan, every person gets their own alfred_ for their own email and calendar, on one company bill. Owners invite people, manage seats and roles, and share a team library.
| At a glance | |
|---|---|
| Who it’s for | Client-facing teams: everyone keeps their own assistant, inbox, routines and texts |
| Billing | One team plan, billed per seat, with a two-seat minimum. See Plans & usage. |
| Managed from | The admin console, reached from the Team section of the sidebar |
| Shared by default | Only what someone puts in the team library. Mail is private until its owner shares it. |
How it works
- Everyone gets their own alfred_. Each person connects their own mail and calendar, and gets their own list, routines, brief and texts.
- Shared only when they say. Nothing moves from one person to another unless that person turns it on. See Sharing & permissions.
- Reads are logged. When a teammate opens something shared with them, it’s on the record where the owner can see it.
- One bill. Every seat is on one team plan.
Setting up a team
-
Choose the team plan
Pick it on the pricing page.
-
Invite people
Open the admin console from the Team section of the sidebar, go to Invitations, and invite people by email. Pending invites stay there until they’re accepted.
-
Each person connects their own accounts
They accept, sign in, and connect their own email and calendar. See Quickstart.
Managing the team
| In the admin console | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Members | See everyone with their role and mailbox, and how many seats are in use. Make someone a co-owner; the billing owner always stays an owner. |
| Remove someone | Their access ends right away. The seat stays on your plan until you reduce seats. |
| Invitations | Invite by email and see who hasn’t accepted yet. |
| Billing | Add or reduce seats. Invoices and your card are in the billing portal. |
What the team shares
The Team library holds what the team chooses to share: knowledge (notes and documents the whole team can open), team rules (off for each person until they turn them on), and reply templates.
