Snooze an email until later
Hide an email from your inbox until a specific time or condition so it stops cluttering your view.
The prompt
Snooze this email until [TIME].
Some emails don’t deserve your attention today but need to come back later. Snoozing removes them from your inbox view until the moment they actually matter.
What alfred_ does
- Identifies the email (active context, or by quick search if you reference it)
- Sets a snooze rule: the email reappears at the top of your inbox at the specified time
- Confirms the snooze so you know it will return
Tips
- Use natural times: “tomorrow morning”, “after lunch”, “next Monday”, “in two weeks”
- Combine with reasoning: “Snooze until the deadline passes — if they haven’t responded by then I need to escalate”
- Snooze + draft: “Snooze this until Monday, but draft a reply now so it’s ready when it comes back”

Best for
Emails you don't need right now but can't forget about — proposals waiting on the other side, follow-ups, things you'll act on after a deadline passes.
