SMS

Commands

Short keywords for the most-used SMS actions — fewer letters, faster results.

Natural language always works, but if you’re texting one-handed or want speed, these short commands trigger common actions.

Snooze and follow-up

SendDoes
snooze [duration]Snooze the most recent item alfred_ surfaced
remind me [when]Set a reminder
follow up [when]Track a follow-up on the most recent thread

Acknowledgments

When alfred_ asks “should I send this?”:

  • yes / send / do it → confirm
  • no / cancel / nevermind → cancel
  • wait → pause the action without dismissing it

Multi-step flows

If you’re mid-flow (alfred_ asked a question, you answer), the next message you send is treated as the answer. Send nevermind to bail out without doing anything.

When in doubt

You don’t need to remember any of these — natural language always works. Commands just save typing.
