Kanban

Custom boards

Create and manage multiple kanban boards — one per client, project, or workflow.

You can create as many boards as you need — one per client, one per project, one for personal life, etc. Each board has its own columns and labels.

What you can do

  • Create a board — “create a kanban board called Acme”
  • Rename — “rename my Sales board to Q3 Sales”
  • Archive — keeps the board’s history but removes it from the active view
  • Customize columns — name them whatever the workflow needs (e.g., “Backlog / Researching / Drafting / Sent / Closed”)
  • Set a default — when you say “add a card” without a board name, it goes here

Board templates

Common starting points (you can pick one or build from scratch):

  • Default — To Do / In Progress / Done
  • Sales — Lead / Qualifying / Proposal / Closed Won / Closed Lost
  • Hiring — Applied / Phone Screen / Interview / Offer / Hired
  • Editorial — Idea / Drafting / Editing / Published

Per-board settings

  • Labels — color-coded tags for filtering
  • Auto-route — incoming cards from specific senders or rules go to this board
  • Default column — where new cards land

Searching from chat or the global search bar searches across all boards by default. Filter to a specific board with “on my Acme board”.
