Timezone
Set your timezone so alfred_ resolves "Friday" and "tomorrow" correctly.
Your timezone tells alfred_ how to interpret relative dates (“Friday”, “tomorrow morning”, “EOD”) and when to deliver your Daily Brief.
Setting your timezone
- Auto-detect — pulled from your browser on first sign-in
- Manual override — Settings → Account → Timezone
- Via chat — “set my timezone to America/New_York”
When to update
- You moved cities
- You’re traveling and want alfred_ to use the destination timezone temporarily
- Auto-detect picked the wrong zone (rare)
Travel mode
If you’re traveling but want briefing time + scheduling to follow your travel timezone:
- “Set my timezone to Europe/London for the next week”
alfred_ flips back automatically after the window.
What “EOD” means
“End of day” resolves to 5:00 PM in your local timezone. You can override per-message — “EOD New York time” — if you want a specific zone for a request.
