Quiet hours
When alfred_ should stop texting and sending non-urgent notifications.
Quiet hours tell alfred_ when not to interrupt you. SMS is the most affected; non-urgent reminders are also held back during quiet hours.
What you can configure
- Quiet hours window — e.g., 9pm to 7am
- Days — every day, weekdays only, or custom
- What “urgent” means — what alfred_ may still text during quiet hours
- Disable SMS entirely — turn off SMS regardless of time
Default settings
- Quiet hours: 9pm–7am
- Days: every day
- Urgent override: VIPs marked critical, calendar reminders for events starting within 15 minutes
What gets held back during quiet hours
- Daily Brief (if scheduled in the window)
- Most reminders
