Delivery time & frequency
When your Daily Brief arrives, how often, and how to change it.
Your Brief lands at a fixed time each weekday. You can adjust the time, frequency, and channel from Settings → Briefing preferences.
What you can change
- Delivery time — pick any time in your local timezone
- Days — weekdays only (default), every day, or custom (e.g., Mon/Wed/Fri)
- Channel — email (default), SMS, or both
- Format — full brief or summary (one-line per item, no expanded drafts)
- Evening wrap — separate end-of-day summary, opt-in
Common configurations
- Wake-up reader — 5:30 AM, weekdays, email + SMS, full format
- Coffee processor — 9:00 AM, weekdays, email only, full format
- Night-prep — 8:00 PM the day before, email, full format
- Light-touch — 7:00 AM, weekdays, summary format only
Skipping or pausing
You can pause the Brief temporarily — vacation mode, weekend trips, etc. Settings → Briefing → Pause for [duration].
Asking for a brief now
If you want one mid-day:
- In chat / SMS — “give me a brief now” or “what’s the most important thing right now?”
- In app — Brief panel → Refresh now
Multiple briefs per day
You can configure both a morning brief and an evening wrap. They’re independent — different times, different formats. Most people start with just morning.
