Reminders
Set defaults for meeting reminders and task deadline reminders.
Settings → Reminders controls when alfred_ pings you about upcoming meetings and approaching task deadlines.
Meeting reminders
For new calendar events you create through alfred_, this is the default reminder offset.
- Off — no auto-reminder
- At time — at the meeting start
- 5 / 10 / 15 / 30 / 60 min before — pick your offset
- Custom — any number of minutes
You can override per-event when creating.
Task reminders
For tasks with deadlines, this is when alfred_ pings you:
- Same day — morning of due date
- Day before — heads-up the night before
- Custom — your offset
If you don’t want task reminders at all, set to Off.
Delivery channels
Reminders fire via:
- Email — short reminder email
- SMS — concise text
- In-app — notification badge
Pick which channels — Settings → Reminders → Delivery.
Quiet hours respected
Reminders that would fire during quiet hours are batched and delivered at the next available time, unless marked urgent.
