Briefing preferences
Configure when your Daily Brief arrives, what it includes, and whether you also get an evening wrap.
Settings → Briefing preferences controls when, how, and where your Daily Brief arrives.
What you can change
- Morning brief time — pick any time in your local timezone
- Days of the week — weekdays (default), every day, or custom
- Channel — email, SMS, or both
- Format — full or summary (one-line per item)
- Sections — hide ones you don’t use
- Evening wrap — separate end-of-day summary, opt-in
Morning brief
The default — lands once per weekday at your chosen time. Recommended start: 6:00–7:00 AM in your timezone.
Evening wrap
Optional second briefing at end of day. Different shape:
- What got handled today
- What’s still open going into tomorrow
- Anything overdue from today
Useful for nightly clear-down before the next day.
Asking alfred_ to change settings
You can change briefing preferences via chat or SMS:
- “Set my morning brief to 7am”
- “Send my brief on weekends too”
- “Disable the evening wrap”
- “Switch to summary format”
