Find notes by content, tag, folder, or related person/event.
Search across all your notes — full-text, with optional filters.
What you can search by
- Content — any word or phrase in the note
- Folder — limit to a specific folder
- Linked person — notes mentioning a specific contact
- Linked event / thread — notes linked to a specific meeting or email
- Date range — notes created or updated in a window

In-app search
Cmd+K (or the search box at the top of the Notes panel) gives you the same. Filters surface as chips you can click.
When search misses
If a note isn’t surfacing, check:
- Folder filter — are you accidentally limited to one folder?
- Date range — older notes may need an explicit date filter
- Phrase vs. words — exact-phrase search (“Acme proposal”) differs from word search (Acme proposal)
- Spelling — full-text search doesn’t always autocorrect
