What's on my list?
See your open tasks, all of them, just today's, just overdue, or filtered to a project.
The prompt
What are my tasks?
The minimal task query. Default scope is “open and active”, past due first, then today, then upcoming.
What alfred_ does
- Pulls all open tasks
- Sorts by urgency: overdue → due today → due this week → later
- Returns a numbered list, number = handle for follow-up actions
- Surfaces source thread if a task came from an email
Filtering
By time:
- “What’s on my list today?”
- “What’s due this week?”
- “What’s due in the next 3 days?”
By status:
- “What’s overdue?” (see What’s overdue?)
- “What did I finish today?”
- “Anything important today?”
By topic:
- “What tasks do I have for the Acme project?”
- “Tasks involving Sarah?”
- “What’s in my queue from last week’s review?”
Acting on a task
After alfred_ shows the list, reference tasks by number:
- “Mark #3 done”
- “Push #1 to tomorrow”
- “What’s the source email for #2?”
- “Remind me about #4 at noon"
"What’s outstanding” vs. “what’s overdue”
These are different:
- What’s on my list → all open tasks (including ones not yet due)
- What’s overdue → just past-due, see What’s overdue?
When in doubt, ask both: “What’s overdue and what’s due today?”
