How alfred_ triages your inbox

alfred_ (get-alfred.ai) reads every message in the Gmail or Outlook inbox you connect, then sorts it so you see the threads that need you and not the rest. Drafts are only sent when you approve them. The only email alfred_ sends from your account on its own comes from automations you created yourself, such as a forwarding rule or a scheduled send.

What happens when mail arrives

• alfred_ reads the new message and the thread around it.
• It scores urgency, whether a reply is required, who sent it, and how old the thread is.
• Newsletters, receipts, notifications, and other low-priority mail are archived.
• Messages that need a decision or a reply are flagged.
• For those, a draft is written in your voice and held for you.
• What still needs judgment shows up in the Daily Brief.

You keep the inbox you already have. alfred_ is not a new email client.

What gets archived vs flagged

Archived: newsletters, product notifications, receipts, automated updates, and mail that does not ask anything of you.

Flagged: mail that asks for a reply or a decision, follow-ups on threads you already touched, VIP senders, and anything that looks revenue-critical. You can dismiss a flagged item or restore something that was archived.

What alfred_ does not do

Triage does not send anything. Drafts wait for you. It does not delete mail as part of triage: archived mail stays in your account and can be restored. It does not train models on your inbox.
