Connect Zoom

Overview

Tell alfred_ to set up a Zoom the way you'd tell an assistant, and it creates the meeting on your own Zoom account, then puts the join link and passcode into the calendar invitation it sends.

How it works

What alfred_ does with Zoom

  • Creates a real Zoom meeting for each event, with its own link and passcode.
  • Puts the link and passcode in the invite, where people look.
  • Works however you ask: by text, by email, or in the web app.

What it doesn't do

  • Never joins, records or transcribes a meeting.
  • Never changes or cancels a Zoom meeting, even one it created.

Configure

In alfred_, open Integrations, choose Zoom and click Connect. Zoom shows exactly what it's granting, and you can revoke it from either side.

alfred_ can create meetings on your account and read your account email, so it can show which account is connected. Nothing else.
