Overview

Not on Gmail or Outlook? Connect any mailbox that speaks IMAP and SMTP and alfred_ reads it like the rest: what's waiting on you shows up in the same place, and any thread is one question away.

How it works

What alfred_ does with your mailbox

  • Reads and triages new mail as it arrives.
  • Keeps a list of what's waiting on you.
  • Finds the thread you mean.
  • Sends from that address, only after you say yes.

Things to ask

  • “What came in on my other account today?”
  • “Find the invoice from the printer.”
  • “Is anyone waiting on a reply at that address?”

Configure

In alfred_, open Integrations, choose Other email, and enter your IMAP and SMTP servers, username and password. An app password is recommended.

alfred_ reads the mailbox. Anything sent from it shows you the message first and waits for your yes.
