How credits work

From October 1, your routines and workflows run on credits, and every plan comes with a monthly amount. Chat, triage, drafts and your morning brief don't use them.

What uses credits

Uses credits

Routines

Ready-made jobs from alfred_, like Plan my week.

Workflows

Jobs you build yourself, in plain words.

Both run on a schedule or when matching mail arrives. Each run uses credits, and bigger jobs use more.

Doesn't use credits

  • Chat with alfred_, in the app or by text
  • Inbox triage
  • Drafts in your voice
  • Follow-ups
  • Your morning brief

What a run costs

Three of alfred_'s routines, measured on real runs. A run that reads more mail or writes more uses more.

Clean up your calendar

Real conflicts, back-to-back stretches and declined meetings still sitting there.

about 14credits a run

Plan my week

Monday morning, your week day by day and the mail that needs you.

about 55credits a run

Log every invoice

Invoices and receipts from your mail, kept in one running list.

50 to 110credits a run

How many you get

Every plan is the whole assistant. Plans differ in credits, and in how many workflows you can build.

When they refresh

On your billing date every month, on monthly and annual plans alike. Unused credits don't roll over.

If you run out

Your routines and workflows pause until your credits refresh. Chat, triage, drafts and your morning brief keep working, and a run that's already started finishes.

Where to see yours

Plan & credits in the app shows what you've used this period, routine by routine and workflow by workflow. It's in your account menu.
