The alfred_ connector puts your real email and calendar inside the AI you already use. Ask Claude or ChatGPT about your work, and it answers through alfred_, as you.

## Connecting

- **Claude** (claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code): click **Add to Claude** on **Integrations → Claude**, or add alfred_ from Claude's connector directory
- **ChatGPT**: click **Add to ChatGPT** on **Integrations → ChatGPT**
- **Other AI tools** (Grok, Cursor, Codex, VS Code and any MCP-capable assistant): add `https://get-alfred.ai/api/mcp` as a connector

Sign in with your alfred_ account once. The sign-in screen lists each permission the AI tool will get, with a box for each: search your work, read email, see your calendar, to-dos and contacts, write drafts, change to-dos, create and change events, manage email rules, tidy your inbox, and send email. Untick any you don't want. Step-by-step guides for each tool are at [get-alfred.ai/mcp](https://get-alfred.ai/mcp).

## What it can do

- Search your email across every connected account, and read a thread in full
- Look at your calendar, find free time, and book or move meetings
- Save a reply to your Drafts, or send one you've approved
- Read and add tasks
- Archive and move mail, and set email rules

## Guardrails

- Emails and invitations are shown to you first and go when you confirm. You can allow specific actions to go ahead without a preview under **Settings → Privacy → Actions without asking**, and revoke them there.
- Cleaning up many emails shows a count first and waits for your yes.
- It can't delete email or tasks, disconnect accounts, or touch a team's lists. Email rules can be turned off from there but not deleted.
- It can only do what you ticked when you connected. To change that, connect again; to remove it, disconnect under **Settings → Privacy**.
- The AI tool doesn't see your passwords or tokens. Every request runs through alfred_.
