Your Google or Outlook calendar connects with the email account it belongs to; iCloud Calendar connects on its own. Choose which calendars alfred_ reads under Settings → Scheduling.

## How each calendar connects

| Calendar | How it connects | Meeting links |
| - | - | - |
| Google Calendar | Comes with your Google account when you connect Gmail. See [Gmail](https://get-alfred.ai/docs/connect/gmail). | Google Meet |
| Outlook Calendar | Comes with your Microsoft account when you connect Outlook. See [Outlook](https://get-alfred.ai/docs/connect/outlook). | Microsoft Teams |
| iCloud Calendar | Connects on its own from Settings → Connected Accounts, with your Apple ID and an app-specific password you make at account.apple.com. iCloud Mail is a separate step on the same screen. | |

## What alfred_ does with your calendars

- Shows them together in **Calendar**.
- Schedules, moves and cancels meetings when you ask, and shows you invites before they go to guests.
- Finds open time across all of them.
- Prepares you for meetings.

See [Calendar](https://get-alfred.ai/docs/calendar) for what to ask and what needs your OK.

## Choosing calendars

Most people have more than one calendar: work, personal, family, a shared team calendar. Choose which ones alfred_ reads under **Settings → Scheduling**.

## Work accounts

If your organization needs an admin to approve alfred_ before you can connect Outlook, see [Microsoft 365 admin approval](https://get-alfred.ai/docs/connect/microsoft-admin-approval).

## Removing access

Remove the account under **Settings → Connected Accounts**. For Google you can also remove alfred_ at [myaccount.google.com/permissions](https://myaccount.google.com/permissions), and for Microsoft at [account.microsoft.com/privacy/app-access](https://account.microsoft.com/privacy/app-access).
